FAQ

Are your translations accepted by UK authorities?

Yes. I provide official certified translations fully accepted by the Home Office (UKVI), HM Passport Office, DVLA, courts, the NHS, and academic institutions across the UK.

Do the translations include a stamp or seal?

In accordance with UK government guidelines, a physical stamp is not required. Every translation includes a formal Declaration of Accuracy, the date, my professional credentials, and contact details. This format is the standard requirement for UK certification.

What are your professional qualifications?

I hold a Bachelor’s Degree from Kyiv State Linguistic University and possess extensive experience in professional translation. My work is recognised for its accuracy and adherence to UK official standards.

Are you a member of ITI or CIOL?

Membership in these associations is optional for translators in the UK. My certifications are strictly based on my academic degree and professional standing, ensuring they meet all Home Office and legal requirements for "certified translation."

Do you offer notarisation or apostille services?

I specialise in Certified Translations, which are sufficient for the vast majority of official UK purposes. If your specific case requires a Notary Public or an Apostille (Legalisation), these must be obtained through a Notary or the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO).

How will I receive my documents?

You will receive a high-resolution, certified PDF via email. If a physical copy is required, I can provide a printed version sent via Royal Mail Tracked 48 for an additional £10.

Can you translate from English into Ukrainian?

Yes. I provide bilingual services: Ukrainian to English and English to Ukrainian. My rates for both directions are identical.

Do you offer an express/urgent service?

Yes. For urgent requirements, I offer Same-day or Next-day service for an additional fee of £10 per document. Please mention your deadline when requesting a quote.

What are the requirements for document photos/scans?

Please provide a high-resolution scan or a clear photo of the entire document. Ensure all four edges are visible and the text is legible. For the best results, take photos in natural daylight without using a flash or filters.

How do I make a payment?

Once you have approved your quote, payment is made via Bank Transfer. I will provide the necessary details and an invoice (upon request) via email.

Do you offer family or bulk discounts?

Yes. I offer preferential rates for families requiring translations for multiple certificates (e.g., three or more birth certificates for the same household). Please contact me for a custom quote.
